Why we started On‑Call

Doctors are opinionated, passionate people who want to keep up with the issues shaping their profession. But our long shifts and clinical commitments leave little time for it.

We started On-Call News to build a community where doctors can exchange ideas and opinions. Every other Sunday you’ll get the obvious and not-so-obvious issues affecting you, alongside pieces on what it really means to be a doctor, written to be engaging and, we hope, a little funny.
